Delivery and assembly – Bench
The bench arrived at lightning speed and was safely packaged. You can choose between different color combinations, but I chose the all-white version. The assembly was overall uncomplicated. A special highlight was that additional screws and wooden dowels were included.
The wood from which the bench is made may seem thin, but after assembly it was stable enough for my weight of 90 kg. For additional stability, I glued all the wooden elements and dowels.
I had to improvise a bit when screwing the front lower bar as the screws are a bit short, but it finally worked.
design and functionality
The design of the bench with wooden boxes fits perfectly into my hallway and gives it a beautiful look. Thanks to the three removable baskets there is enough storage space for shoes and accessories. The seat cushion is comfortable and can be removed, making cleaning easier. The width of the bench makes it comfortable to sit on.
Quality and workmanship
The quality of the material and the workmanship are overall good, although not outstanding. A big plus is the use of screws instead of nails to attach the back panel, which contributes to stability. However, the dowel holes could be smaller to further increase stability. The thin wooden elements require special care when screwing.
Value for money – Bench with wooden boxes
The price-performance ratio is reasonable, although not outstanding. I paid almost €80 for this piece of furniture. The bench with wooden boxes has a lot of storage space and an attractive design, which justifies the price.
